Quality Month Event: Survive by Quality, Benefit by Quality

In September 2024, Forman Precision Industry Co., Ltd. (FPIC) successfully held a “Quality Month” event, aligned with the national Quality Month initiative. The purpose of this event was to enhance the quality awareness of all employees, emphasize the importance of quality control at every stage, and establish long-term, effective quality improvement mechanisms. This activity showcased our company’s commitment to strict quality management and our responsibility to every customer.

Event Overview:

To kick off the event, FPIC organized a company-wide mobilization meeting. The entire staff echoed the event’s theme with one loud and unified voice: “Survive by Quality, Develop by Quality, Benefit by Quality.” This powerful slogan set the tone for the month-long initiative, underscoring the company’s culture of excellence and the high standards we aim to uphold in every aspect of our operations.

The event’s goals included:

  1. Ensuring that each department follows documented procedures, operational instructions, and quality guidelines.
  2. Conducting a Quality Measurement Skills Competition.
  3. Encouraging self-inspection and mutual inspectionat each position: working according to SOPs, with the next process supervising the previous one.Manufacturing Excellence

Departmental Competitions:

Employees from all departments eagerly signed up to participate, showcasing their skills and their understanding of the importance of quality in their roles. Following the guidelines of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949, departments established their evaluation criteria, which included:

  • R&D Department: Product development documentation and customer approval records.
  • Quality Control Department: Incoming material inspections, in-process inspections, final product inspections, and client feedback logs.
  • Procurement and Material Control Department: Management of material purchases, production planning, and supplier development.
  • Production Department: Production records, equipment maintenance, and adherence to operational standards.
  • Frontline Operators: Knowledge of theory and practical operation, adherence to work processes, identification and handling of defective products, equipment inspection and maintenance, and quality report records. Quality Month

Recognition and Awards:

The event culminated in a comprehensive evaluation of all departments and positions. Based on their outstanding performances, exceptional employees were awarded first, second, and third prizes. Each of these employees is an invaluable asset to the company, and we celebrated their efforts with prizes and certificates. The company expressed sincere congratulations and hopes that they will continue to improve their skills and awareness of quality in the future.
